Leah Madnick

I am a specialist mental health Occupational Therapist who has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years after graduating with a BSc in Occupational Therapy from The University of Liverpool. I have worked in a variety of setting, both in hospitals and within the community, with adults, young people and children. I also have personal experience of supporting a family member with mental health issues and understand the impact on the family unit and carers.

I qualified as a Sensory Integration Practitioner last year and am particularly interested in raising awareness and understanding of the impact that sensory difficulties can have for children and adults, across all areas of their lives, as well as supporting the development of strategies to overcome these challenges.

I am a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT) and registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Occupational Therapy supports individuals to overcome difficulties which impact their ability to engage in day to day life. I am passionate about supporting clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential in what’s important to them.
